I need to respond to this in 300-400 words in a.p.a. format with references

One of the questions proposed in this week’s discussion board asked, “after a long period of time, is avoiding a choice a decision itself?” Fortunately, we have had some great insight given to us about decisions from Verne Harnish and Jim Collins. After reading all our resources I have come to conclude that avoiding a choice is a decision and since we have avoided making choices often it is hard to argue whether the results are positive or not. The context of this question, however, helps us understand that we have these choices in front of us and we delay in making a choice. That is wrong practice to put in place if we want to be decisive business people. In James 1:6-8, brother James says, “the one who doubts is like a wave at sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. (Bible, 2019).”

All this to say that God has made us more than capable of making the right decisions. However, it is all up to what we find valuable and worth the sacrifice. We cannot let external forces distract us or make us doubt what we know about our internal environment. Therefore, the greatest business decisions of all time have stemmed from people viewing their options and choosing a solution that leaves us clear in conscious. For example, let say you have been offered multiple scholarships for school. Some pay for half of the tuition, some pay full amount, and some pay for housing. Out of all these choices, some will not be offered long term. These choices are limited based on someone else receiving the same amount. First come, first served is what I would call this process. Your options are already wide, and now all that you should do is ask yourself what is the best choice for my future. Scholarships are an investment, and waiting to choose an investment will result in a greater loss 9 out 10 times. Once we are given stewardship over choices, we should weigh our costs and decide our next moves.
