The text is extremely difficult to read with long blocks of text, small point size for fonts, and inappropriate contrasting colors. Poor use of headings, subheadings, indentations, or bold formatting is evident. The layout shows some structure, but appears cluttered and busy or distracting with large gaps of white space or a distracting background. Overall readability is difficult due to lengthy paragraphs, too many different fonts, dark or busy background, overuse of bold, or lack of appropriate indentations of text. The layout uses horizontal and vertical white space appropriately. Sometimes the fonts are easy to read, but in a few places the use of fonts, italics, bold, long paragraphs, color, or busy background detracts and does not enhance readability. The layout background and text complement each other and enable the content to be easily read. The fonts are easy to read and point size varies appropriately for headings and text. The layout is visually pleasing and contributes to the overall message with appropriate use of headings, subheadings, and white space. Text is appropriate in length for the target audience and to the point. The background and colors enhance the readability of the text. 10.0 %Language Use and Audience Awareness (includes sentence construction, word choice, etc.) Inappropriate word choice and lack of variety in language use are evident. Writer appears to be unaware of audience. Use of ?primer prose? indicates writer either does not apply figures of speech or uses them inappropriately. Some distracting inconsistencies in language choice (register) and/or word choice are present. The writer exhibits some lack of control in using figures of speech appropriately. Language is appropriate to the targeted audience for the most part. The writer is clearly aware of audience, uses a variety of appropriate vocabulary for the targeted audience, and uses figures of speech to communicate clearly. The writer uses a variety of sentence constructions, figures of speech, and word choice in distinctive and creative ways that are appropriate to purpose, discipline, and scope. 10.0 %Format 5.0 %Mechanics of Writing Mechanical errors are pervasive enough that they impede communication of meaning. Inappropriate word choice and/or sentence construction are used. Frequent and repetitive mechanical errors distract the reader. Inconsistencies in language choice (register), sentence structure, and/or word choice are present. Some mechanical errors or typos are present, but are not overly distracting to the reader. Correct sentence structure and audience-appropriate language are used. Slides are largely free of mechanical errors, although a few may be present. A variety of structures and effective communication devices are used. Writer is clearly in control of standard, written academic English. 5.0 %Evaluating and Documenting Sources (in-text citations for paraphrasing and direct quotes, references page listing and formatting, as appropriate to assignment and style) Contains no title slide, no references section, and no correctly cited references within the body of the presentation. Running Head: CONFERENCE PRESENTATION DEVELOPMENT: PART 1 1 Conference Presentation Development- Part One Behavioral management theory There is a number of theories applied effecting management in different organizations. A fundamental principled theory applied in management is behavioral management theory. It is important to note, behavioral management theory is also referred to as the human relations movement, because it addresses the human dimension of work (Mazurowska, 2014). Behavioral theorists share a common belief. Their approach reflects proper understandings of human behavior in the work environment, such as conflict, motivation, expectation, improved productivity, and group dynamics. The chosen articles explain how behavioral management theory applies to different setting, and how its application may be of use to a number of individuals who operate in different managerial settings (de Carvalho & Junior, 2015). The choice of topic is appropriate, because the application has been examined, which brings close and effective understanding of the theory. The management of an organizations duty is to learn how to apply behavior management theory within the company, which directly benefits management, and employees. Deconstruction One Each organization approaches management theories in different manners, and for distinctive purposes that fits the culture of their work place environment. For purposes of this assignment, a deconstruction of two articles is performed each discussing different management theories. The information discussed in the first project provides the title impact of Risk Management on Project Performance, and the Impact of Soft Skills was written in 2015 by authors, Marly Monteiro de Carvalho, and Roque Rabechini Junior. The second written piece discusses the Role of Behavioral Research in Management Accounting, and was written by Marta Mazurowska in 2014. The information is designed based on relevant research methods, critical and independent thinking, and willingness to understand the nature of the authors’ viewpoints of behavior management theory. Methodology Methodology examines research information reader’s needs to judge the study’s validity. Clear and precise details provide rationale, and specific experimental procedures, which are crucial aspects of scientific writing. A number of methods are used by researchers in the role of behavioral research management. Researchers provided critical analysis of domestic and international literature in economic sciences as a source of data needed to provide appropriate results for their objectives (Mazurowska, 2014). De Carvalho & Junior (2015) distinctly applied a number of methods in collecting and analyzing appropriate data. Methods used by the researchers to collect data included conducting various interviews and surveys. Again, it is important to note the researchers applied real-life experiences as they collected research data. For data analysis, the researchers used a number of models, which translated data, and assisted learners to interpret information effectively. The study involved a survey sample size of two hundred and sixty-three individuals who provided opinions related to the subject. Results An assortment of findings was produced concerning the subject of study. The role of behavioral research in management accounting research explains how behavioral accounting offers significant and valuable perspective tools used in the accounting process. Additionally, researchers discovered the process of maintaining an important role of accounting, as a source of data for economic decision-making, calls for changes (de Carvalho & Junior, 2015). Research findings include understanding personal behavior as an important factor in the process of promoting organizational activities, and enhancing performance. According to Mazurowska (2014), as long as people are developing their communities, it is important to understand their behaviors will greatly influence organizational functions. Research from the second article involved results produced from collected samples. The information notates how a large number of research manuscripts disregard soft skills, and present research was designed to assist with filling research gaps (de Carvalho & Junior, 2015). According to Mazurowska (2014), structural model offers a means of correlating risk management with project success, and understanding the process of moderating the effect of project complexity. The application model is effective in assisting management with effective leadership methods. Conclusion Deconstructing each researcher’s literary presentation features different theory applications. Information in the first piece researchers conclude the development model presented supported the subject of study. Research objectives provide teaching approaches using models and theories which assist with understanding, analyzing, and solving problems. Conference Presentation Development- Part One Global Management Theory Global management theory identifies methods of how management should operate within an organization. Global management theory experts provide explanations based on experiences of management in certain organizations. Global management theories are used as productive tools, which promotes employee efficiency and effectiveness. Each theory offers its own explanation, and application process. Global management theory is a widely discussed application process, and applied specifically in organizational settings. Researchers provided clear and concise global management theory information, and beneficial viewpoints of its value to an organization. A management teams adopted global management theory promotes the importance of innovation within the organization. Deconstruction Two Management models and theories maintained in an organization determine the cultural precedence of the organization. Researchers produced a number of global management models based on narratives of different levels of management to accomplish poignant and creative operational themes (Jones, Donaldson, Freeman, Harrison, Leana, Mahoney & Pearce, J. (2016). Two manuscripts are examined, and the breakdown involves deconstructing narratives which discuss global management theory. Philosophical Foundations of Management furthers the importance of innovation, and was written in 2016, by Jean Joullie. Management Theory and Social Welfare, Contributions and Challenges emphasizes social and economic objectives organizations perceive, was authored by Thomas Jones, Thomas Donaldson, E. Freeman, S. Harrison, R. Leana, T. Mahoney, and L. Pearce, in 2016. Methodology Methodology advocates researched objectives conducted by scholars, and applied methods of collecting effective data and appropriate information (Joullié, 2016). Examination of the first composition, considers researchers use of the surveying method to retain information for the study. Researchers reviewed fundamental themes in an attempt to provide legitimate comparison, and subject matter which align global management models in management (Jones, et al, 2016). The next passage employs a different method of obtaining data needed in research. Researchers reviewed, and condensed an assortment of compositions to provide objectives, and varied management models. The research employed secondary data collecting and analysis methods centralized for theoretical preference. The author’s global management theory evaluation provides noteworthy philosophical viewpoints, as they bring together a level of social and psychological research theories. Results Research results interpret the framework, theme, and role of social welfare of global management theory, and its importance in an organization’s management operations. The fundamental principles of the information illustrate parameters which lead to improvement of economic social welfare, known as the Pareto Improvement Criterion. According to Jones, et al (2016), the process of identifying different philosophical foundations of management generally leads to an improvement in the practice of management within the organization. Philosophy is one of the best practices, and should be used in managing different organizations. The application process leads to effective management roles within an organization. Conclusion In light of pedagogy precedence, as scholars we learn and erudite knowledge widened by views of peers and intellectual ambassadors. The application of appropriate theories is used in management practices. The authors presented arguments obtained from experience, erudition, and conventional wisdom. The application of different theories is necessary in the management process, and these models should be prodigiously learned, and practiced in organizations. The information obtained from sources provided appropriate global management theory concepts used to make business operations easy and effective. References Mazurowska, M. (2014). Running head: CONFERENCE PRESENTATION DEVELOPMENT: PART TWO 0 Conference Presentation Development: Part Two Business management has become complex, because of current dynamics in the certain markets. Good management philosophies and theories are management tools used by management in delivering sound management decisions (Annavarjula, Folam, Ramirez, & Zdravkovic, 2014). The integration of the education system is a force multiplier in achieving management goals. Management theory and social welfare Over the past years several philosophers produced analytical studies dealing with various models of management. Management of worldwide business organizations neglected the need to provide, and protect the social welfare of the community in which they operate their businesses (Jones, Donaldson, Freeman, Harrison, Leana, Mahoney & Pearce, 2016). Management theory philosophers present subjective, objective, anecdotal distinctions based on academic, business, intellectual, and scholar levels, The author’s role of management theories responds to the greater common good of society based on examined business activities. There are various theories which explain the tenets of strategic management. Organizational efforts have been directed towards maximizing profits under the guise of protecting the interests of company shareholders (Jones, et al., 2016). Debatable reasons are given to justify this vice by corporate management. First, it is a single-valued objective, therefore, it is easier to articulate and implement. Second, this management theory has a long standing history of acceptance of shareholders’ protection by management, and company executives. Third, the theory conforms within the requirements of financial markets. Fourth, social welfare of society are often considered the government’s responsibility, not corporate entities. Finally, it legitimizes profit maximization and protection of shareholders (Jones, et al., 2016). These notions have made incorporation of social welfare programs for society unattainable. Enhancement of business education through integrated educational curriculum Past and current studies have explored the need to provide integrated international business curriculum, which is key in enhancing learning processes. Students obtain rewarding educational experience under integrated education curriculum. The new curriculum may have few challenges when it comes to the implementation process. The curriculum is anchored on interactions of faculties, cross-functional business applications, and students’ interactions during the learning process. Students are afforded the opportunity to interact and share ideas, and long-term results produce well-rounded students with good interpersonal skills. The students gain practical knowledge of corporate finance, and international business dealings (Annavarjula, et al, 2014). Manufacturer-retailer relationship International retailers’ activities are the main determinant factor in centralizing Global Accounting Management (GAM). The influx of retailers in foreign markets has forced manufacturers to centralize their GAM activities in a bid to change local Key Accounting Management (KAM) methods in international retailers (Swoboda, Schlüter, Olejnik, & Morschett, 2012). When retailers centralize their purchasing power, it improves their bargaining powers in the international market. The management department must learn on how to respond to these dynamics. Philosophies of management Studies have shown how philosophies play a crucial role in management. Therefore, it palpable managers incorporate useful philosophies when executing management duties. The use of philosophical management concepts are important in developing managerial wisdom, because it deepens an individual’s understanding of the facets of management, and promote creative and critical thinking skills, which are necessary tools in business management (Joullie, 2016). The role of corporations with safeguarding both shareholder and society interests has not elucidated past and current studies, thus opening avenues for further development of intellectual studies. Conclusion Global business management is a complex epithet most studies have not focused on. Therefore, organization executives must implement integrated approaches to enhance efficiency, and sound management decisions. This is possible through incorporation of relevant business management philosophies, and education systems, which lay emphasis on sound management (Joullie, 2016). Moreover, the role of global business organizations, in provision of social welfare must be provided considerable attention (Jones, et al., 2016). Reference Annavarjula, M., Folam, L.
