1. Advertisers try to motivate us to buy products. Look at a product (for example cars, beer, pain relievers, or any other product that may interest you) and analyze the strategies they use to get us to part with our money. There are three basic components in advertising strategies: the audience (who do they want to sell their product to), the message (what are they saying about their product), and the communicator (who is the speaker for the product and why was this particular type of speaker used).
2. Type A personality: One of the characteristics of a Type A personality is impatience. Your assignment is to observe the patterns of waiting in a field setting, such as in line at a restaurant or grocery store, paused at a stop sign or traffic light, or while eating. Report your observations in one paragraph.
